Valerie Conzo is a trial lawyer with the law office of Sheldon J. Schlesinger, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She represents individuals and their families in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability and personal injury litigation. Ms. Conzo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with Honors, from the University of Florida in 1988, where she majored in economics. She contiuned her education at the University of Florida College of Law and received her Juris Doctorate degree in 1991.
Prior to joining Sheldon J. Schlesinger, P.A., Ms. Conzo was an Assistant State Attorney in Broward County, Florida. She successfully prosecuted thousands of criminals including armed robbers, drug traffickers and murderers. She tried an extensive number of jury trials and never had a conviction reversed. After leaving the state Attorney's Office, she continued her dedication to victims by representing injured Plaintiffs in lawsuits against major corporations.
Ms. Conzo is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Florida as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
She has been a member of The Florida Bar since 1992. She is a member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the American Bar Association, and the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association.
